Albino Penis Envy Mushroom – Appearance

It’s not surprising that a shroom with a “penis” in its title has a phallic appearance. APE looks just like regular Penis Envy, with some differences – shorter stem and pale white colour:

• Size: average, 4-6 inches long stem, 0,5 to1,5 inches in cap diameter;
• Cap: pale white, bulbous form; gills are tightly pressed to the stem since it doesn’t sporulate;
• Stem: extremely thick, white with blue tint due to the bruising.

Albino Penis Envy took the best from its parents: an unusual lack of pigment from Professor’s Fanaticus mutation and a thick, potent stem from PE. Even though it comes from 2 potent strains, according to the Psilocybin Cup, APE is more potent than other Psilocybe cubensis variations but not nearly the strongest.

Albino Penis Envy – Origins

APE’s history is what you always expect from a lab-bred mutant – it’s pretty plain and documented:

• Sporeworks were the ones who supposedly isolated and spread reliable spore samples;
• As for the original Penis Envy, its history is a real thriller that began in the early 1970s by the McKenna brothers;
• While it’s widely believed that Steven Pollack was the one who stabilized Penis Envy we know today, new theories claim that Rich Gutierrez is the actual PE creator.
